CLARK Material Handling Earns 2022 Best Places to Work in Kentucky Distinction

LEXINGTON, KY – March 2, 2022 – The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) have ranked CLARK Material Handling Company – a top-ten global manufacturer of forklift trucks and spare parts – as one of the BEST PLACES TO WORK in KENTUCKY for 2022!

This marks the fourth time CLARK has earned the prestigious BEST PLACE to WORK in KENTUCKY designation, with previous recognition in 2013, 2019 and 2020.

This designation applies to both of CLARK’s Kentucky facilities: their American Headquarters and manufacturing plant in Lexington, and their state-of-the-art parts distribution center in Louisville.

Following a rigorous selection process, managed by the Chamber and KYSHRM, the recognition of CLARK as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky exemplifies the company’s “Built to Last” philosophy.

“At CLARK, we take pride in our role in the material handling industry as employing the most knowledgeable, highest quality and overall best people in the industry.  Our employees are the reason that CLARK is a Best Place to Work,” said Dennis Lawrence, President & CEO.

“Receiving this award and earning this recognition is particularly meaningful as it is based on feedback received directly from our employees.  Our employees and our culture are the heartbeat of CLARK.  Our continuous goal at CLARK remains fostering a workplace environment built on employee commitment, teamwork, integrity, corporate citizenship and the pursuit of excellence,” added Sherry Myers, Human Resources Manager.

This statewide program, created in 2004, identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in Kentucky.  The Best Places to Work in Kentucky Initiative is based on FORTUNE Magazine’s “100 Best companies to work for in America” list.
